Chairs Don't Have to Be With Tables
When you're looking to make a change to your decor and you don't want to make some huge changes in your room; one way is to make sure you're making good use of your space. You can make additions to your ceiling area in the form of using stencils or texture to bring some small elements of design. Tin ceiling tiles, a throwback to the turn of last century, make for a fabulous accompaniment.
If you have a room that just needs a little something, try adding a chair to a space. You don't have to have a table with it. A simple chair that acts as a holder for a real or silk plant makes a fun way to use a small space and keep the flow of the decor going. You can also use a chair beside a fireplace and let it do duel duty holding blankets to lay in front of the fire as well as a place to sit in front of the fireplace.
Chairs can also be used to decorate corner spaces.
Corner chairs have one elongated corner that is made to fit in perfectly into the corner of any room. Corner chairs can be made from simple wood or an elaborately upholstered affair that can be used alone or as apart of a sectional furniture unit. Using corner spaces can really help your design flow smoothly around a room through the use of similar colors and/or textures in your choice of chairs or upholstery.
No matter what your personal tastes are, you can use chairs to make small additions to those little spaces around your rooms that just need "a little something".
