If you are somebody who usually sticks to more neutral tones, you may want to think of throwing in a healthy dose of color to change things up a bit. Step outside of your comfort zone and try something new in order to make the change really work for you. Have no fear because if you do not like the new color, it is always something that can be painted over later on!

When you are on a budget, even a single new piece of furniture can make the world of difference in a room. If you are making over your kitchen, you can always think of adding a bench to one side of the table opposite two of your chairs. Such a change can make for a nice switch from what you are used to as well as adding a nice element to the feeling of the room!
