Bathroom Furniture -Space Saving Functionality
When decorating a house, oftentimes the bathroom seems to get left out. This is one room that should be designed to be as highly space conservative and functional as possible.
If you have a French Country décor throughout your house and want a Shabby-Chic or thoroughly modernistic bathroom interior design, go for it! There are no rules that say your bathroom must match the rest of your home's decoration. There are a number of elements that you can use to bring more storage space along with functionality to your design.
If space is limited, you will love the features a standalone bathroom cabinet can offer. They come in several different sizes to fit any bathroom size and generally have 3-5 shelves, pull out drawers and closed door cabinets where you can spirit away your necessary items, toiletries, towels, washcloths and more.
Children can make bathroom spaces seem even smaller. A tower cabinet is a tall, skinny addition that can hold all the kid's toys from the bathtub and their toiletry items as well. You can also add a space saving functional piece such as a tilt-out hamper that will act as a catch all for all those dirty clothes kids seem to generate.
If you have zero floor space to spare, go with a wall cabinet. You can get the same functionality as with a standalone cabinet but you won't be sacrificing any precious floor space. Additionally, the wall cabinets have towel racks on the bottom for added functionality.
Bathroom furniture should be chosen with care for the best fit for your bathroom space, now that you know the choices that are available to you, make the most from your room!

Barstools - a Great Decorating Idea
If you thought bar stools were just boring pieces to be placed at a bar table and just used whenever you have guests, think again. A single barstool or barstool set can add a lot to any room.
When space is limited in your décor a bar table and barstools can make a lot of sense. A bar table with its small, compact design is ideal to have a cozy breakfast or a casual lunch. Barstools generally start at around 24-inches in height but can go as tall as 32-inches.
If you have a shabby-chic décor in your home, a single barstool can be used to hold a flowing fern or lovely ivy plant in a corner. As far as other décor designs go from French Country to a Modern Eames look, there is a barstool to fit every one in every height. Classical wooden barstools to exquisite wrought iron designs will add an air of casual chic to any room's interior decoration.
You will not only have choices in your design and colors in your barstools, there are also models that swivel making them easy to get in and out of. This feature is especially beneficial if you're using the barstools as seating at a kitchen counter.
From cozy corner tables to side cabinet snacking to adding a finishing touch to a traditional wet bar, barstools will add so much to your room design.

Choosing A Nursery Furniture Set For Your Baby
When choosing a nursery furniture set for your baby, you want two equal things in your baby's furnishings. You want comfort and you want safety. The cribs of yesteryear had slats that were too wide and unfortunately babies got their heads caught in them and injuries were caused.
The cribs of today have not only your baby's comfort but also their safety in mind. All the cribs available at Allure have crib slats spaced at a safe distance and are built to keep your little one snuggly comfortable during their slumber.
One of the most versatile cribs is the Convertible Crib. This is not only a crib for your baby but it converts to a bed for your toddler. Complete with top and bottom railings with an opening in the middle so your big boy or girl, who no longer is a baby in a crib, can get in and out of their bed themselves. Additionally, there is a great pull out drawer that fits in the bottom of the crib/bed and can be used for clothing or toys.
Ever considered a French iron crib for your baby? They are elegant and sturdy beds that are also very comfortable. These outstanding beds are made from pieces that are cut and bent by hand and then the connecting joints are hand molded. The beds come in over 50 different finishes, one to match your nursery. There is a convenient one-side drop down railing so laying your baby down is a breeze. These cribs meet all safety standards so you can rest assured your little one is not only in a cozy bed, they are in a safe bed as well. The six adjustable mattress heights make this crib easy to keep your baby from climbing out of. As you baby grows taller, drop the mattress down a notch and your baby will have some difficulty climbing out of her crib. Best of all this crib will be custom made for you so you are not only buying your baby a safe and cozy bed, you're investing in an heirloom for the future.

Liven Your Room with Area Rugs
The basic purpose of an area rug is to set one part of your room apart from another. However, an area rug will also perform the duty of tying together the color scheme of your room.
An area rug can bring an atmosphere of warm to an otherwise cool room. Likewise an area rug can bring brightness to a rather dull setting. Whether your décor tastes run towards traditional, French, modern, art deco, floral, Southwest or even if you like quiet low-key designs - you are sure to find an area rug perfect for your room among the huge selection at Allure Furniture Designs.
Many people choose their rugs as the base element of their room design and then bring in colors included in the rug around the room to keep the design going in all areas around a room. If you have a room that needs a color boost, consider a vividly patterned rug as an accent piece. When you find your décor has some strong color elements pick out a rug with two or three of the main color values in your room design and you'll have a winner of a design element in your room. Another way to bring a nice accent into your room is to pick a low-key rug with an intricate border design or you can make a bold statement by picking an area rug of an opposing color as the other main colors of your room.
An area rug can really speak volumes about your room. Find a rug that suits your personal style and let it enhance your room design.

Bringing Your Room Together With Accent Pieces
So, you've just designed the room of your dream but it still needs something. That something might just be an accent piece. Accent pieces are used to pull a room together and give continuity to your room's design. An accent piece can be practically any item used to make your room "flow".
From a smartly placed chair next to a small table that holds a globe or a small cedar chest to a bench with some comfy pillows placed on it, the accent pieces are entirely up to you and whatever your imagination can come up with.
If your décor is in the French Country design, go for something in a linen or rust tone to really bring out the whole décor of your room. If shabby chic is what your room favors there are a number of items you can use to tie your entire design into a whole cozy feeling emanating from the room.
The only downside to using accent pieces is that once you start looking for pieces to add to your room, it's hard to choose just a few great pieces and too many accent pieces go from accent to clutter. Clocks are often overlooked accent pieces. A simple clock can make a guest's eyes flow from a painting hanging on the wall to an accent piece clock to another painting or perhaps a table with a sculpture on it.
Keep your design clean and cozy by using accent pieces in your room design!
